Definition of Keloid
keloid scar was defined as an excessive development of scar tissue sometimes seen in burns, surgery, wounds, acne or even accidental cuts, forming tumors authentic, ie, swelling, bloating and increase in volume.
What is a keloid scar are most frequent in young women and, sometimes, in individuals with dark skin.
Why go keloid scars:
• It seems that out because it generates a surplus of collagen, in turn, is stimulated by an overproduction of epidermal growth factor, a substance that is responsible for coordinating the regeneration of the skin, thereby forming this type of scar.
Over the years, the keloid may flatten and become less visible.
