The rules of Fitness and Cardio Training

The cardiovascular endurance activities like running or the elliptical are considered sport “easy” by some people, sports can be practiced without having to follow specific rules.

However, it is a mistake to believe that we can address the cardiovascular lightly. Some rules are common sense, but others are more subtle, as you can see from reading this file.

Compliance with these rules is important to prevent injury and practice in good conditions safely.

It is strongly advised to consult a doctor before Starting Cardio, especially if you’re in one of the following situations:

- One of your parents suffers from heart problems: any sport cardiovascular endurance will make your heart strong contribution, make sure you are healthy at this level, especially if you have more than forty years.

- You suffer from disease (diabetes etc.).: Your health you may require to take precautions against an effort of endurance.

- Do you suffer from joint problems and / or back: some disciplines are quite demanding on joints (running for example), they are potentially dangerous.
