Is there any relationship between aspartame and cancer or tumor formation? There is much controversy about the alleged health risks of artificial sweeteners such is the case of aspartame, it is said to cause cancer:

• Well, it’s physiologically impossible for aspartame is carcinogenic.

• Aspartame is broken down in the gastrointestinal tract in small amounts of common dietary components such as amino acids, aspartic acid and phenylalanine.

• consume higher amounts of these components in foods such as milk, meat, fruits and vegetables.
